Penn State Mont Alto IT Services will be offering additional workshops and training sessions throughout the coming year to assist the campus community in its transition to use of Microsoft Office 2007.  Be on the lookout for messages detailing upcoming learning opportunities.  Until then, please avail youself of the following resources.  We shall add to the list as we discover new resources.  As well, please feel free to contact us with any concerns or questions you may have.

Microsoft Interactive Command Guides

The following links will take you to Microsoft web pages that contain guides for learning to use commands in Office 2007 products.  Click on the link next to the program you wish to learn to use.  Click the "Start the Guide" link.  When you then click the "Start" button, a window will appear that will look like the 2003 version of the program you chose.  When you move through the menu items to fnd the command you wish to use, a pop-up box will appear to tell you how to find that command in the corresponding 2007 program.

Microsoft Instructional Demonstrations

This link will take you to a Microsoft page that allows you to navigate to a number of different demonstrations.  Go to the Browse Demos by Product" section, and click on the "2007 Office System" tab. Click on the 2007 program that interests you, then select the demonstration you wish to view.  These demonstrations are small videos that you'll need to listen to, as well as view, to obtain the full effect.

Penn State IT Services has been busy compiling resources to hand out through trainings in subjects that range from Microsoft Office to ANGEL to general computing and much, much more.  Click on the following link to view a comprehensive list of those resources.  You will need to log in using your Penn State Access account credentials to download the materials.
