At Mont Alto, the Chancellor and the Adminstrative Council, our central administrative management team, direct campus operations. In the absence of the Chancellor, the Chief Academic Officer acts in his stead. The Administrative Council is organized into the following structure:
Dr. Francis K. Achampong, Chancellor
The Chancellor, as the head administrative officer, is responsible for administering all affairs of the University on the campus and within the campus area, including resident instruction, continuing education, research, and public service.
Dr. Michael Doncheski, Director of Academic Affairs
The Chief Academic Officer is the administrator responsible for all campus academic concerns. These include hiring and supervision of faculty, program development and delivery, and supervision of the following academic support services: Library, Learning Center, Division of Undergraduate Studies Advising Center, Office of the Registrar, and the Office of Continuing Education. The Chief Academic Officer is also responsible for the academic quality of all Continuing Education programs.
Randall Ackerman, Director of Development
The Director of Development reports to the Chancellor for the administration of all matters relating to fund raising and alumni relations.
Diane Chamberlin, Director of Continuing Education
The Director of Continuing Education works in conjunction with the Chief Academic Officer and is responsible for the facilitation, administration, and management of continuing education classes, programs, and services. The office delivers, off and on campus, credit and non-credit educational programs and services to the communities of Franklin, Fulton, and Adams counties and workplace programs on company premises.
Andrea Christopher, Director of Student Affairs
The Director of Student Affairs and her staff are responsible for Residence Life, Health Services, Counseling, Athletics, Career Services, Student Activities and Cultural Programs, Clubs and Organizations, Student Government, New Student Orientation, Judicial Affairs, Multicultural Programs, Veteran’s Affairs, Campus Ministry, the Student Activity Fee and the Student Center.
Holly Cieri, Interim Director of Public Relations and Marketing
The Director of Public Relations and Marketing serves as the campus spokesperson and media liaison, as well as oversees advertising for the campus and its programs, the production of all campus publications, and manages web content. This office is also responsible for ensuring that University editorial style and graphics identity programs are applied to all forms of external communications to maintain University editorial and visual standards at our campus.
Director of Enrollment Management
The Director of Enrollment Management and staff educate the public about Penn State University and about the admissions and financial aid processes at Penn State. They also work to enroll and retain students who have the potential to succeed by promoting access to the University through education, counseling and financial assistance. The Enrollment Management Office is responsible for Admissions, Financial Aid and student retention.
The Director of Housing and Food Services manages all matters and staff related to food service on campus, The Mill Cafe, Cafe Java, and its residence halls.
Doug Prowant, Director of Information Technology
The Director of Information Technology oversees the department which provides support for all computers and telecommunications. He is responsible for faculty, staff and student computing, telecommunications, and AV support.
Ron Swope, Director of Business Services and Finance
The Director of Business Services is responsible for the purchasing of goods and services, finance, Police Services, and for most Human Resources functions at the campus.
