Penn State Mont Alto welcomed its newest students Friday for its move-in day for first-year students. Returning students move in on Sunday. Approximately 350 students will settle into the campus' three residence halls before the weekend is through.

In addition, the Founder's Convocation ceremony to be held Saturday, August 25 at 2 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Activities Center will mark the official opening of the new academic year. After the flurry of move-in and orientation activities planned for the weekend (schedule), classes will commence Monday, August 27, 2012.
