At its heart, this is a campaign for Penn State students—to enable the next generation and all succeeding generations of graduates to realize their full potential as individuals—to sustain their families, advance their professions, and contribute to our country’s strength.
It is also a campaign to enable Penn State to realize its full potential as an institution to create prosperity, keep our nation competitive, and enhance quality of life.
We ask you to join us in the most ambitious fundraising campaign in Penn State’s history. The following projects highlight our greatest need at the current time and are part of the current "For the Future" campaign:

ScholarshipsScholarships are the University’s top priority in this campaign. Every year, we lose talented, dedicated students because of the cost of a Penn State degree. Many undergraduates work multiple jobs while carrying a full course load, yet students are graduating with an average personal debt of more than $28,000. These financial realities restrict the dreams of far too many students and families. With the help of our alumni and friends, we can ensure that our opportunities remain accessible for students whose means may be limited but whose ability and ambition are limitless.

Capital ProjectsAs part of our 10 year master plan, Penn State Mont Alto has identified a need for several new facilities / spaces on campus including a Student Union building, science facilty (to include state-of-the-art nursing labs), forest science building, and more. A building can be named for a donor if at least fifty percent of the cost of the building has been given by that donor in the form of either cash or funds derived over a maximum five-year pledge period. Donors may also memorialize or honor a loved one through giving to capital projects. Penn State Mont Alto currently seeks gifts to support expanding our campus facilities and providing more opportunities for our students. |

Faculty SupportEndowed faculty positions are among Penn State's most important resources for developing and sustaining a strong faculty. Such positions provide honor and recognition for the men and women who hold them, but they also provide something more important: a stable, dependable source of income for special teaching and research materials, library acquisitions, salary supplements, and travel assistance.

ArboretumThe campus recently created an Arboretum Masterplan to outline the growth and maintenance of the campus arboretum. Donors can support a commemorative tree at the $1,000 level or a founder's tree at the $5,000 level. These trees can be named in honor or in memory of a loved one, fellow alumnus, family member, etc. A donation of $100,000 will endow and name a grove in the arboretum. There are several giving options in between, as well. |
