**NEW** STEAM Camp comes to Mont AltoJuly 13-17, 2015

STEAM is a week-long day camp designed for incoming ninth- and tenth-graders to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Discover how they compliment each other and blend together to create new disciplines.

 Components of this interactive and high engagement camp include:

  • GPS Mapping
  • Botany
  • Drone Flying
  • Symmetry
  • 3D Printing
  • Website Design

Drop off and pick up at Penn State Mont Alto Campus, 1 Campus Drive, Mont Alto, PA

Drop off is 8:45 a.m. and  pick up is 4:00 p.m. 

Cost: $165 (includes lunch and snacks)



MedCamp comes to Mont AltoJune 22-26, 2015

MedCamp is a popular long running camp, open to students interested in learning more about healthcare and medical careers. The program gives incoming ninth- and tenth-grade students the opportunity to visit high profile facilities such as Hershey Medical Center, Summit Health, Wilson College Vet Tech Program, and Shenandoah University. Students learn about healthcare careers, including physical medicine, surgery, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, pathology, and lots more! 

The “home base” for the camp is Penn State Mont Alto and transportation is provided by charter and school bus lines to field trip locations throughout the week.

This program is a unique opportunity for students with strong interest in science, healthcare, and medical careers.

**NOTE** - MedCamp is limited capacity and applicants are selected based upon their individual written applications, along with their school teacher/counselor recommendations. Students should see their school counselor for applications after March 1st. Application deadline: March 27th. Applications are also available to download. 


Teacher recommendations are part of the application process.
