Woodsmen Team

The Penn State Mont Alto Woodsmen Team is a coed University club sport.

Axe-throwing, pulpwood tossing, crosscutting, chainsawing, speed-chopping. These are all events in the Woodsmen's competitions. Both men and women compete. We usually go to at least two meets each semester, anywhere from North Carolina to Ontario, Canada. Our team has been Mid-Atlantic States Champion and Runner-Up over the last few years. This is a great way to make friends and work off frustrations. No previous experience is needed.

Forestry Club

The Forestry Club is for all students interested in careers in Forestry and Natural Resources.

Our activities include:

• Competing in Quiz Bowls
• Doing Service Activities (Trash cleanup on Oak Road)
• Going to Professional Conferences and Meetings
• Inviting Speakers
• Fellowship and Fun

The Forestry Club is also a student chapter of the Society of American Foresters
