In order to be considered for the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Penn State Mont Alto, students must have completed the minimum high school requirements which includes four units (years) of English, three units of science, five units in any combination of foreign language, social studies, arts, humanities, and three units of mathematics. Keep in mind that two units of the same foreign language are recommended, as well as a fourth unit of mathematics. The Bachelor of Science in Business also requires a half-unit of trigonometry or higher level math within the required three units. A transfer student will be reviewed for this program if they have obtained the half-unit of trigonometry from high school or the equivalent from another institution.
In addition to high school requirements, traditional first-year students will also be reviewed on standardized test scores, either the SAT or the ACT are accepted. Penn State will review the best score from one single test date. Adult and transfer students will not need to submit any test scores, these applications will be reviewed based on the student’s previous academic records.
Students interested in applying for the B.S.B program should fill out the online application at admissions.psu.edu. An official transcript from any other institution(s) attended must be submitted along with the official high school transcript. Again, traditional first-year students must also submit their standardized test scores, SAT or ACT, from the testing service. The B.S.B program can be started in either the fall or spring semester so please visit the Admissions website to see when the next available semester begins.
